Carey Donohue-Lawson PT/Owner

Carey earned her B.S. at Russell Sage College in Physical Therapy, and she specializes in Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, Orthopedic, Headache, and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
Carey has been with Albany Physical Therapy since 1995 and has been an owner since 2018. She is passionate about helping her patients regain mobility and return to the activities they enjoy doing.
Outside of the clinic, Carey enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family. Carey is a Breast Cancer Survivor who is dedicated to supporting and treating others on their Breast Cancer journey.

Americo J. Leva PT/Owner

Rick earned his B.S. at Quinnipiac College in Physical Therapy, and he specializes in Orthopedic, Sports Physical Therapy, and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
Rick has been with Albany Physical Therapy since 1989 and has been an owner since 2018. Rick is passionate about helping his patients get back to doing what they love.
Outside of the clinic, Rick enjoys going to Saratoga Race Course, vacationing in Florida, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

Lauren Hardie PTA

Lauren earned her B.S. in Biology at UAlbany and her Associate’s degree from Herkimer College as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
Lauren has been with Albany Physical Therapy since 2016.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren enjoys Crocheting, cooking and baking, kayaking, hiking, but mostly hanging out and playing with her children.

Tiffany Barnes

Tiffany is a professional member of our business office staff who will assist you with any insurance questions and help your carrier with paperwork and referrals.
Tiffany joined the team at Albany Physical Therapy in 2025.
Outside of the office, Tiffany enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and attending country concerts.
